Yadira Rosales

Yadira Rosales serves as the Vice President for Student Success at Skagit Valley College in Mount Vernon, Washington. In this role, she provides strategic leadership over Hispanic Serving Initiatives and Student Services, including Enrollment, Advising, Athletics, Financial Aid, and Student Life. Under her leadership, SVC was designated a Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI) in 2025, the result of multiple strategic and operational plans implemented over a 10-year period.
Yadira is the co-founder of the inaugural Washington State HSI Symposium, a statewide convening of colleges and universities that are emerging or designated HSIs. She has been appointed to multiple statewide committees for her impactful work in equity and inclusion.
Currently, she is pursuing a Doctorate of Management in Community College Policy and Administration at the University of Maryland Global Campus. She holds a B.A. in Psychology and a Master of Education in Higher Education Leadership, both from Western Washington University.
As the daughter of immigrant farmworker parents and a proud first-generation college student, Yadira is deeply committed to expanding educational access and leading transformational change to support student success.
