Feel free to share the good news with award recipients and colleagues. The Department of Education notifies Congressional offices of new grant awards prior to notifying applicants to allow Members of Congress or their staff the opportunity to personally congratulate the new grantees. 

In the coming days, the Department of Education will contact all successful applicants directly to provide detailed information about their award. The Department will also notify unsuccessful applicants at that time.
