Kino Huarte is a higher education leader focused on expanding access, advancing equity, and strengthening systems that help every student succeed. As Senior Director, Institutional Advancement & HSI Initiatives at Salt Lake Community College, I lead strategic, community‐centered work that supports SLCC’s growth as an emerging Hispanic‐Serving Institution.

His work sits at the intersection of strategy, partnership, and student success. Kino collaborate across campus and with community and national partners to remove barriers, improve outcomes for historically underserved learners, and build initiatives that create real social and economic mobility.
